6 of N9NE Commission for Louise Gilbert. Author of I met my soul in a coffee shop. These nine figures represent the nine purposes of the soul in each of us. The specifications for 6 were: Initials F, O and X. Background colour Indigo. The symbol for 6 is a six point star. The 6 symbolises a Healer, Counsellor, Nurturer, Designer and Advisor. The purpose of 6 is a Teacher. The figure is balanced upon an adorned egg portraying the fragility of not only her life, but the lives of others. She draws her dress away revealing her openness to others seeking knowledge encapsulated within the fragile egg. These figures will be available as high quality edition prints before the end of 2013.
